I can’t thank Steve Juett enough for his assistance in getting my Mother her Aid & Attendance benefit from the VA. Mom is a WWII veteran (she was in the WAVES!) and has macular degeneration. She was to the point where she could no longer prepare her own meals, clean her home, drive a car, get to doctor appointments, etc. She had lived in her home since 1958 and deciding to move to an assisted living facility was a big decision. Not only was it hard to move from her home but it is worrisome to her on how she was going to afford such a facility. However, if she had to hire the help that would allow her to stay in her own home the cost would be even more expensive. We contacted Steve Juett at Project Veteran Assistance and met with him several times to discuss her options. He was always so patient and explained what she should do to apply for benefits. Steve assisted us will filling out all the forms and helped facilitate their movement through the VA. Mom is now receiving the maximum benefit due her and is happily living in the assisted living facility. I’m so grateful to Steve Juett and Project Veteran Assistance!
Sincerely,

Carl

Steve, I am writing to let you know I received written notice from the VA saying they have approved the claim for my Aunt. More importantly I want to say THANKS to you, Sue and everyone at Project Veteran Assistance for your support and determination throughout this process. This would NOT have been possible without you. As you well know the VA process is not an easy path. When I coupled this with the special aspects of this claim for my Aunt I am absolutely convinced there is no way I could have succeeded with your help and guidance. Thank you. Best.

My uncle is a Korean War Veteran. He now resides in an assisted living facility. Steve Juett and his staff began assisting my uncle with the hopes of receiving veteran benefits. Mr. Juett explained in detail the benefits that benefits to be pursued. We found Steve Juett to be an advocate for all veterans. He is very knowledgeable and aids the veteran in the quest to receive benefits. We found Mr. Juett and his staff very kind, polite, courteous, professional and always willing to help. After submitting the necessary forms to the government, my uncle received his benefits in less than one month. He can now remain in the assisted living facility without a financial burden. Thank you Steve Juett and staff.

As the daughter of a veteran of WWII, I worked with Steve Juett to apply for VA benefits for my dad. My dad wanted to stay in his home, but needed health care and assistance in order to do so. Of course, this was expensive and that’s where Steve came in. We were told about the VA benefits, but we had no idea how to complete all of the paperwork. We learned about Steve and his office and contacted them to obtain the information. Steve came to my dad’s house and walked us through the process, completing the forms, requesting the necessary documents to be submitted and all of the other necessary steps that must be accomplished to qualify for the benefits. Steve met with me on several occasions to finalize everything. My dad received an approval letter last week and should start to receive his benefits shortly. We are so grateful for Steve’s help; we couldn’t have done it without him and his coworkers. Now we have peace of mind about dad affording the assistance he needs. Thanks so much,
